The 3rd Annual Dinner in honor of Ralph Edwards will be held on April 6 at The Clubhouse Restaurant (575-744-7106) at Sierra del Rio Golf Course. Drinks are at 5pm; buffet dinner is at 6!

The evening will also feature a silent auction and dancing to music by Scooter Jones. In honor of this year's theme (Go Green!), attendees are encouraged to dress in black, white, or green semi-formal wear. (And by semi-formal wear, we mean FUN wear!)

April 1, 1950 marked Mr. Ralph Edwards’s first visit to officially change the name of Hot Springs to Truth or Consequences. At the time no one could have guessed the impact of this historical decision—not even Mr. Edwards himself! He made his yearly pilgrimage to T or C far longer than originally stipulated, because he fell in love with Sierra County.

In 2006, Truth or Consequences' Mayor made the official proclamation: every April First, the town would celebrate Ralph Edwards Day to honor the man and his generous contributions, which spanned over fifty years.

We hope you will join us in kicking off the Fiesta season during this fun night of music, dancing, delicious food, and a celebration of our town’s brush with Hollywood!
