Every year, the Fiesta parade rekindles the spirit that Ralph Edwards ignited when he first came to town in 1950.
Parade participants are invited to interpret the theme of the year as colorfully and resourcefully as they can! Prizes are awarded to the top three entries.
The parade's Grand Marshall is named at the Ralph Edwards Dinner every year. This 2011 Parade Marshall is ELLEN EVANS! Congrats Ellen!
The entire community gets involved, building floats, dressing in costume, or turning out to line Main and Broadway with spectators.

The Miss Fiesta Contest, an event sponsored annually by the Sierra County Junior Women's Club, is held every year in April.
Sierra County women between the ages of 16 and 21 (on or before April 4), who had never been married or had children are eligible to enter each year.
Contestants spend the week of the pageant rehearsing and preparing for the big night, and friends and family fill Ralph Edwards Auditorium to cheer the girls on. Scholarships and other prizes are awarded to participants.
